Thank you to everyone who linked up to the September prompt about Self Care. A round up post will follow.
Wow! It’s 1st October and the seasons are changing again. In the past week we moved from summer to autumn and that has been noticeable even here in France. The temperatures have reduced by 10-15 degrees since the middle of September. Of course for those in the Southern Hemisphere the opposite is happening and spring has sprung.
One of the great things about autumn for me is that I can get out the slow cooker, or break out my casserole dishes and prepare some warming comfort food. There are also apples and pears around in abundance for pies and crumbles. I’m hoping this month to encourage the sharing of recipes from across the world. Because I love to try new things and also to share those new things with others.
- What is your favourite recipe for this time of year?
- Have you found something new to cook that you want to share with others?
- Recipes can be ‘healthy’ for both body and mind – in other words, cakes and puddings are just as welcome as healthy salads, veggie dishes or good old staple stews and casseroles.
The link up opens today, Thursday 1st October and continues up until Saturday 31st October at midday GMT. Rules are simple to follow and can be found here.
