Resetting some goals

In my last post I wrote a bit about the ways in which I’ve let things slip over the months since the beginning of lockdown. My weight gain isn’t massive but it is there. I’ve only just been able to get back to swimming, which is my preferred exercise (other than walking). So, that had me thinking about goals and doing something of a reset.

August is one of those times when we usually take a break from the busy times of life. The children and students are off school and people tend to take holidays. Then much like in January with New Years resolutions, September is time for a re-set. This year is a little different, since few people have been busy, and even fewer have taken holidays. Plus many of the goals set at the start of the year have been achievable.

So for August’s For the Health of it I am asking: Do you plan to reset your goals? If so in what way?

Or: Are you planning to make new ones. Or do you think (given the state of the world) that there is little point in bothering? I’d welcome your thoughts.

The link up opens today (12th August) and will run until 5th September as I will be travelling down to the south of France at the beginning of next month.
